It's Here!!!

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!

Today we are going to my parents house to celebrate and tomorrow we will head to Iowa to celebrate with Dennis' side of the family. I am so excited and hope that little Gilly Willy will thoroughly enjoy his first Christmas meal!! :)

Here's a story fresh from the "will warm your heart" category........

Two days ago, in a suburb of the Twin Cities, there was a horrific apartment fire which destroyed the building and left nearly 200 people homeless. It was so incredibly sad to see the tenants being interviewed and witnessing just a sliver of their intense sorrow. Nothing was salvagable. Then yesterday, as the Salvation Army/Red Cross was getting help to these people, an anonymous donor came forward and donated One.Million.Dollars to be split up between all of the people. That means each person is getting a check for over $17,500 today to begin rebuilding their lives. Many of them didn't have renters insurance either, so that will be a great help I'm sure. People have also been donating heaps of clothes and food to help. It's really wonderful to see the outpouring from everyone - and just in time for Christmas!

I'll be out of town and taking a small Blog-cation until Monday, but I'll leave you with one of my favorite Christmas Scripture verses:

Matthew 1:21~
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."

Thank you Lord for giving us your Son!! Merry Christmas to you all!!
