Well Dennis wasn't going to let me get away with not posting his Chuck E. Cheese victory when my brother visited, so here goes nothin'!
Chuck E. Cheese has been known from the beginnings of time to be a place where kids play and can act like kids with (basically) no consequences. It's also a place where grease covers every square inch of every surface and the rules of cleanliness apparently don't apply, but I digress........David loves it there.
So we purchased an enormous amount of tokens for game playing and David took to the floor. He was having a great time and Dennis decided to expedite the token spending by sneaking one to play the free throw basketball game. As he was playing, he happened to notice that if one was lucky enough to score 50 points (not an easy feat), said person would earn 200 tickets. "Wow 200 tickets!," he thought, "we could finally get a good prize!" (read: we could get a prize worth more than 5 cents street value)
Dennis was on a mission.....Dennis smuggled some tokens while I kept David busy on the car and helicopter rides. After about 15 minutes, I see Dennis running up to me, like a wild cheetah after the kill and what do I see in his paws....er.....hands????? Yes that's right - 200 beautiful, perforated tickets!! He got to 50 points! He was SO proud!
Dennis with his bounty
And, by the way, David had a great time and was able to pick out several 5 cent prizes!

Okay, this cracks me up because it is exactly what Travis would have been like! :-) Way to go for marrying boyish husbands! :-)
CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS!!! Dennis - for hitting thatJACKPOT!!! Shannon - for not rolling your eyes and heckling, like I do!! :) When we go to Chuck E. Cheese Donnie always has to win the ski-ball jackpot and without fail and $10 later, he wins the 250 tickets that amount to $2.50 in value. So, ya, boys will be boys :) Hee hee! Hope you're having a fun weekend up Nort!
