This is a (grainy) picture of another baby who is important to me, my little brother!! Yesterday was his 9th birthday and as I was sifting through the baby pictures I have to find one to post, I stumbled across this lovely one with our Great Grandma from when David was born. As I remembered that was also Thanksgiving weekend, I surprisingly dissolved into tears! It was partly because her memory is tucked away in a special place in my heart that I hadn't been in quite a while and mostly because I just miss her and wish she could have gotten to know my husband and son. I'm so thankful for sweet reminders of a sweet Gram.
