Showered with Love

This past Saturday, my friends Kristen and Myrna hosted a baby shower for me with my college girlfriends. We had a great time! Good games, good food, good laughs......what more can you ask for!! Thank you Kristen and Myrna! Here are a few pictures from the day:

Before I go, does my ticker REALLY say 35 days?? (or less depending on when you read this!). Wowzers!! Time marches on and soon there will be another person in our family! I will be the comforter, snuggler, nurturer, food source, discipliner (well not for a while and I'm not sure that's even a word??), wrestler, comedian, teacher......the list goes on and on..........

Lord, please prepare our hearts and home to receive this little person you have blessed us with. He is no surprise to You and the depth of Your love for him eclipses even mine. Help us to be the parents you created us to be and make the most of every opportunity to instill a love for You in him. Thank you for the joy he has already brought to our lives and the joy that is to come........
